Quite possibly in line with what you said - lacking pretense.

Personally I believe it's the quality that I appreciate rather than social conditioning. It would be kind of sad if social conditioning is the justification for the appreciation of innocence! :]Josehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17838857677618174153noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5385938630254488035.post-65985988787232579572010-07-13T01:24:26.111+08:002010-07-13T01:24:26.111+08:00funny -- old people are real because they're d...funny -- old people are real because they're don't change anymore, they've grown into who they will be for the rest of their lives, but children will necessarily change when they become not-children! but they lack pretense both ways.

who isn't crabby in a crowded train lol?

what you said reminded me.. it's much easier to look/ smile at the old and the young than it is other ages? i don't know if it's due to some social conditioning i have or if it's some quality of the old and young.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5385938630254488035.post-18115330895867789122010-07-08T02:32:52.130+08:002010-07-08T02:32:52.130+08:00yes indeed! out of all the main age groups i think...yes indeed! out of all the main age groups i think old people and kids bring the most joy because they're more 'real'. of course what i just said is debatable, but that's me.

although one difference i might state is that some old people in singapore can be quite crabby. could be due to having lived through different experiences. the villagers, particularly the older generation, were EXTREMELY warm and hospitable. maybe those crabby singaporean oldies are the ones i've been meeting in crowded trains lol.

perhaps it might really be a urban vs rural thing.Josehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17838857677618174153noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5385938630254488035.post-37396538591052247712010-07-07T20:59:44.486+08:002010-07-07T20:59:44.486+08:00old people in singapore are lovely too! if you'...old people in singapore are lovely too! if you've ever been to one of the markets in the middle of the afternoon, there are so many old people walking around and sitting at tables, on benches. watching is easy and foc 8)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5385938630254488035.post-16329411110154819902010-07-06T12:34:43.742+08:002010-07-06T12:34:43.742+08:00hahah i think she was laughing! yes they had very ...hahah i think she was laughing! yes they had very beautiful old folk there.Josehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17838857677618174153noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5385938630254488035.post-16938688528042578152010-07-06T01:08:44.698+08:002010-07-06T01:08:44.698+08:00this is such a silly question, but is she yawning ...this is such a silly question, but is she yawning or laughing?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5385938630254488035.post-78813698023215828332010-07-06T01:03:39.725+08:002010-07-06T01:03:39.725+08:00the old woman is beautiful!the old woman is beautiful!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
